CedarCreek - Estate - Pinot Gris

This Pinot Gris is a roughly 50/50 blend from CedarCreek's Southern Okanagan vineyards, and Home Block vineyard on the slopes of Okanagan Lake. Each location provided a little ripeness and brightness respectively. The grapes were hand-harvested and whole-bunch pressed to protect colour and phenolics. Ten percent was fermented in barrel (some new oak to give a base level of spice). This is not an oaky wine by any means, just with a little texture and mouthfeel on the palate.
