The grapes for this Pinot Gris were hand-harvested and whole-bunch pressed to protect colour and phenolics. Ten percent was fermented in barrel (some new oak to give a base level of spice). This is not an oaky wine by any means, just with a little texture and mouthfeel on the palate.
