Mission Hill 2019 Prospectus Pinot Noir
The 2019 growing season began with perfect seasonal conditions followed by a fall and winter of cold extremes. The spring conditions carried through to the summer, with the warm weather encouraging healthy vine growth, and even flowering,. The ripening period and harvest was not without challenge with unseasonal rainfall; however, these challenges were navigated expertly by our viticultural and winemaking teams. This harvest concluded on October 2019, marking a short, but beautiful vintage in the Okanagan.
Notes of stone fruit, citrus, and flint are highlighted by a fine lemon acidity and seductive textures. Harmonious integration of fruit, oak, and texture.
