Mission Hill 2013 Quatrain
The Legacy Collection represents Proprietor Anthony von Mandl's vision to showcase the Okanagan Valley's diverse microclimates. Each wine is the pinnacle expression of more than three decades of viticulture, sustainable farming, and winemaking experience in Mission Hill's estate vineyards.
Exceptionally limited production, each of these rare wines see attention to detail in the extreme.
Quatrain is four lines of verse, interpreted as four varietals giving balance and structure to this wine.
The vines were painstakingly managed from distinct blocks to ensure perfect ripeness and opulent flavours from Mission Hill's vineyard estates in eastern Osoyoos and the Black Sage Bench in Oliver. This unique cuvée was fermented in small, specially designed French oak fermenters.
Mission Hill Family Estate Winery
Mission Hill Family Estate was founded with a vision for the future of wine. Continuing our pioneering history, we use sustainable, organic farming practices. By supporting these practices with modern technology, our varietals thrive in the valley’s diverse soil profiles. Then, they are carefully aged with new and Old World techniques, leaving you with wines that echo the terroir of the valley.
