CedarCreek Platinum Viognier


Fresh, sappy oak character on the nose. Full body and rich texture in the mouth. Notes of apricot and white flower.


Viognier is a difficult variety to ripen. To retain the intense aromatics and focus on riper flavours, CedarCreek’s vineyard team pulled leaves from the fruiting zone on both sizes. The increased exposure to the sun opened the door to riper flavours at lower sugars and lower tannin.

In the winery, a combination of wild ferment and inoculation with organic yeast, plus six months on lees, resulted in this vintage’s textural, expressive bottling.
