This Pinot Noir opens with aromatics of black raspberries and violets. It is followed by a mélange of pomegranate, rosemary, strawberry pie, earth tones, and cinnamon flavours. A toasty character from barrel aging perfectly rounds out this medium-bodied wine.
A fickle grape, Pinot Noir is a perfect foil to many cuisine choices. Delicious with cream of mushroom soup, a spring vegetable risotto (or root vegetables or mushrooms, depending on your preference,) poached salmon, salsa verde enchiladas, or with candied pecans.
