This is a single vineyard Sauvignon Blanc sourced from Border Vista Vineyard in Osoyoos. It comes from two lower cropping blocks within the vineyard. A large canopy was maintained in the blocks throughout the summer to retain green characters in the finished wine. After harvest, the grapes received 2 – 4 hours of skin contact in the press before being pressed off and fermented. Half of the wine was fermented in stainless steel to retain fresh aromatics while 40% was fermented in foudre and 10% in concrete to give roundness, texture, and length.
